Before you dive into the details of planning your romantic elopement, take a moment to enjoy! Celebrate at your favorite restaurant or crack open a bottle of bubbly. Whatever your flavor, be sure to pause and soak up the joy with your soulmate.
Want to sneak away just the two of you? Or would you prefer to have a few of your nearest and dearest share in the experience? Our team is happy to help you brainstorm creative ways to include family and friends, whether or not they actually attend your elopement.
A majestic mountain setting. A romantic walk on the beach. The elopement location you choose will greatly impact the overall vibe of the day (not to mention the pictures!). It's also important to consider the time of year, accessibility, and weather expectations.
The vendor list for elopements is quite small compared to traditional weddings, but your photographer and videographer are ones you certainly want to include! Find a professional that you feel comfortable with and whose work matches your style.
Once you've decided on your spot, it's time to start scouting a specific location to conduct the ceremony. Remember, you'll want to look into the legal aspects of this as well (i.e. permits required to use that space).
Now that you've decided on a location and date, it's time to book your travel and lodging accommodations. Think about where you plan to get ready for the wedding ceremony, and of course where you want to spend your wedding night!
Will you opt for the traditional white dress and tux or do you prefer a more casual, non-traditional attire? It's your big day, so there's no right or wrong way to go. You will want to take into account the weather, location, and activities of the day when deciding on your attire.
With all the big details sorted out, it's time to plan your perfect elopement day. Our team will help you define a realistic timeline that gives you the freedom to relax and enjoy your day while also incorporating all the activities that are important to you as a couple.

You'll receive a sneak peek of a few photos within 48 hours of your day (I know you're anxious to 'gram!). For engagements, photos are delivered within 2-3 weeks. weddings are delivered within 6-8 weeks.
You can expect to receive 30-50 final hand- edited images per hour of coverage! After your wedding day, I'll remove any photos you wouldn't want or need (people blinking, blurry, etc) and edit & deliver the rest! Don't worry, I won't withhold any images I think you'll want.
Nope! I don't send any un-edited/raw files! Unless you purchase raw video. Most of the magic happens during the editing process, so without that step your photos are only halfway done!
This is up to you, but I totally recommend one for a few reasons!
First, my style of photography works best when we've gotten to know each other. An engagement sesh is the perfect time for us to hang out & spend time together before your day!
It's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and practice makes perfect. It's totally natural to feel a little bit nervous/awkward when you're not used to having your photo taken, but your engagement session will make you two pros by the time the wedding rolls around!
While I'm confident in my ability to shoot all of my weddings solo, I recommend second photographers for larger weddings, or when couples are getting ready separately and the timeline doesn't allow me to be with them both. They can provide another perspective to your day and an alternate angle of every situation! We can chat more about this option on a quick consultation call.
